Legal Representation for Industrial, Commercial & Residential Real Estate

Real Estate Transactions

We represent buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants, borrowers and lenders, owners and managers, brokers, architects, contractors, and any other party that might be involved in a real estate transaction.  We are experienced in handling all types of real estate, including shopping centers, hotels, office buildings, warehouse/industrial buildings, apartment projects, condominium projects, raw land and single-family homes.   We also have special expertise in green building projects, including issues regarding LEED Certification and the specialized terms for green contracts and leases.  We are involved in all aspects of negotiating and drafting transaction documents and advising clients on the legal, business and tax consequences of the provisions contained in those documents.  We don’t take a “cookie cutter” approach, but understand that each transaction is different and each property is different.  While recognizing the subtle differences between each deal, we draw on our knowledge and experience to “get the deal done” without over-lawyering the transaction.

Real Estate Disputes

We handle all types of disputes which arise in the world of real estate, from foreclosures and evictions to construction litigation and arbitration. Our experienced team of litigators bring a tough but pragmatic approach to resolving real estate disputes to achieve the most advantageous result in the most cost-effective manner.
