• Experienced in adversary proceeding litigation, including the defense and prosecution of preferential and fraudulent transfers and dischargeability actions
• Has developed expertise in Ohio’s Uniform Commercial Code with respect to the sale and transfer of negotiable instruments
• Advises clients with respect to business transactions, including formation of Ohio entities and the negotiation of partnership and asset purchase agreements
• Has conducted numerous sales of real estate free and clear of liens in both bankruptcy and receivership cases

Background
Rachel practices in the areas of bankruptcy, receivership, and commercial litigation. She served as a law clerk to United States Bankruptcy Judge Pat E. Morgenstern-Clarren, and has represented clients from all perspectives, including secured creditors, receivers, bankruptcy trustees, and both consumer and commercial debtors.
