Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) Presents: "Lawyers Without Rights........"April 27, 2012

In an effort to publicize a cautionary tale critical not only to the law community but to the general public as well, Barbara Roman, President of the CMBA, Anne Meyers and Jayne Geneva have worked tirelessly, dedicating their time and resources to bring to Cleveland  an extraordinary exhibit:  “Lawyers Without Rights: Jewish Lawyers in Germany Under the Third Reich .” The exhibit will be open to the public beginning May 1st, which has been designated Law Day by the Federal Government. Produced by the German Federal Bar, the exhibit will be on display in the Atrium of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law (Cleveland State University)  through May 31st. This particular event – its importance and implications for the legal underpinnings of democracies throughout the world   – is a highlight  of  Barbara’s  CMBA Presidency.
